Anales del Instituto de Arte Americano e Investigaciones Estéticas "Mario J. Buschiazzo" is a peer-reviewed scientific publication published annually (print version) and semi-annually (digital version), born in 1948. It publishes original works referring to the history of urban planning, architecture, and graphic and industrial design, preferably referring to Latin America; including works on epistemological, methodological issues or specific problems arising from completed or ongoing research and that make original contributions to the discipline. Those texts are considered to be those that, in addition to being based on rigorous research, provide critical reflections, original interpretations or innovative approaches, committed to history and design, and that contribute to consolidating their epistemological bases and expanding the field of knowledge.

Anales del IAA is a scientific journal with a semi-annual (digital version) review, edited by the “Mario J. Buschiazzo” Institute of American Art and Aesthetic Research, of the Faculty of Architecture, Design and Urban Planning of the University of Buenos Aires.

The printed version, published annually, is published at the end of the year corresponding to its edition; and the digital version, semi-annual, is published continuously and the issue closes in the months of June and December of the respective year.
