ANDES has been published periodically since 1990. It was created by Doctor Guillermo Madrazo who directed it until 1996. From 1997 until 2014, Doctor Sara Emilia Mata was its director. Prominent professionals and researchers from Argentina and abroad are part of its editorial committee. The magazine has maintained its international recognition and continues its inclusion in the Latindex. categorized in Level 1 of excellence, which is why it is part of the core of Argentine basic journals according to the evaluation carried out by CAICYT-CONICET.

She was selected to join the Portal Educativo del Ministerio de Educación de la Nación, Educ-ar since 2001.

Authors retain copyright. The magazine guarantees the unpublished and original nature of the articles received and sent for evaluation.
