Basic Information


Acta Toxicológica Argentinais the official journal of the Argentinian Association of Toxicology. Its main purpose is the publication, either in Spanish, English or Portuguese, of original contributions in the various fields of Toxicology. All aspects will be covered, including mechanistical, clinical, quantitative toxicological, and epidemiological studies. Environmental and ecotoxicology oriented work will be welcomed. Appearing twice a year, the journal is dedicated to excellence and in-depth reporting, in the form of original research articles, short communications or review articles. The editors also welcome the submission of concise contributions from commentary, short opinion or book reviews. Its frequency is half-yearly.

Frequency: six-monthly (2 issues/year).

Its abbreviated title is Acta toxicol. argent. (en línea) and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.

Acta Toxicológica Argentina  maintains a commitment to the policies of Open Access to scientific information, as it considers that both scientific publications as well as research investigations funded by public resources should circulate freely without restrictions.

Acta Toxicológica Argentina ratifies the Open Access model in which scientific publications are made freely available at no cost online, with no time embargos and with no publication costs transferred to the authors. This policy seeks to dismantle the economic barriers that have created inequalities in the access to both information and the ability to publish investigation results
