Cuadernos del Centro de Estudios en Diseño y Comunicación is an academic journal of international scope with arbitration and edited by the Facultad de Diseño y Comunicación de la Universidad de Palermo uninterruptedly since 2000.

It publishes original and unpublished works referring to the contemporary agenda of design, communications and creativity from an interdisciplinary perspective.

Each edition is thematic and brings together contributions from authors from different perspectives, institutions and countries. Each issue is organized by an academic coordinator of the Facultad de Diseño y Comunicación de la Universidad de Palermo.

The works that meet the formal requirements are submitted to arbitration by experts. The journal reserves the right to make formative modifications to the original text.

An essential requirement for the publication of articles is the requirement of originality, not allowing the simultaneous application of articles in different journals in the scientific field.

The list of arbitrators consulted belongs to the Arbitration Committee and their names appear in the same Notebook. The Editorial Committee is made up of academics who are consulted for editorial decisions.

Publication Expenses

Cuadernos del Centro de Estudios en Diseño y Comunicación, does not charge any type of publication fee. The entire evaluation, publication and promotion process is free.

Shipping Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to verify that their submission meets all of the elements shown below. Submissions that do not comply with these guidelines will be returned to the authors.

• The submission has not been previously published or submitted for consideration by any other journal (or an explanation has been provided in the Comments to the Editor).

• The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF or WordPerfect format.

• Wherever possible, URLs are provided for references.

• The text has single spacing; 12 point font size; italics are used instead of underlining (except in URLs); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed in the appropriate places in the text, rather than at the end.

• The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which appear in About the Journal.

• IMPORTANT: The file DOES NOT provide any information about the authors or their affiliations (these should only appear on the forms completed when submitting in STEP 3).

• The manuscript was adjusted to the instructions for authors, requested by Cuadernos.

• The authors respected the copyright of all cited works and have not committed plagiarism.

• The authors respected the ethical and legal standards for publications proposed in the Code of Ethics of the American Psychological Association (APA).
