·Comechingonia accepts the following contribution types: articles, notes, bibliographic reviews and dossiers.
·In all modalities, manuscript has to be written in a Word file, in A4 page within a 13 x 18,5 cm box (top and bottom margins of 5,5 cm and right an left margins of 4cm). Font type will be Book Antiqua 10 in single space, without justification nor indentation, without bold nor underscore. Sentences and words to be stressed will be on italics as well as scientific names and other languages words. Paragraph will be detached by a blank line.
·Articles, which present original outcomes of scientific researches or theoretical and methodological reflections, cannot exceed twenty (20) pages following the general instructions and including all the sections detailed bellow:
- Title (bold, capital, justified to the left).
- Authors (normal, justified to the right).
- Authors affiliation: Institution, address, e-mail, etc. (normal, justified to the rigth).
- Abstract in Spanish and English, up to 200 words.
- Keywords in Spanish and English, up to 4 words.
- Text (Normal, without justification).
- Subtitles (bold for main ones and normal for secondary ones, both justified to the left).
- Acknowledgments.
- Endnotes.
- Tables and Figures (each one included within the text in the accurate place and in a separate 300 dpi JPG file, not exceeding the box size) with the corresponding epigraph.
- Referenced Bibliography.
·Notes, which present short and original outcomes of scientific researches, cannot exceed six (6) pages following the general instructions and including all the sections detailed bellow:
- Title (bold, capital, justified to the left).
- Authors (normal, justified to the right).
- Authors affiliation: Institution, address, e-mail, etc. (normal, justified to the rigth).
- Text (Normal, without justification).
- Subtitles (bold for main ones and normal for secondary ones, both justified to the left).
- Acknowledgments.
- Endnotes.
- Tables and Figures (each one included within the text in the accurate place and in a separate 300 dpi JPG file, not exceeding the box size) with the corresponding epigraph.
- Referenced Bibliography.
·Bibliographic reviews, wich analize recently published archaeology books, cannot exceed four (4) pages following the general instructions and, including all the sections detailed bellow:
- Reviewed book title, year, autor, editorial and city of edition and ISBN number (bold, capital and justified to the left).
- Author (normal, justified to the right).
- Authors affiliation: Institution, address, e-mail, etc. (normal, justified to the rigth).
- Text (Normal, without justification).
- Referenced Bibliography.
·Dossiers include a group of at least three articles entailed by a common topic and have to be preceded by an introduction by the dossier coordinators. Manuscripts included in a Dossier cannot exceed thirty (30) pages following the general instructions and including all the sections detailed bellow:
- Title (bold, capital, justified to the left).
- Authors (normal, justified to the right).
- Authors affiliation: Institution, address, e-mail, etc. (normal, justified to the rigth).
- Abstract in Spanish and English, up to 200 words.
- Keywords in Spanish and English, up to 4 words.
- Text (Normal, without justification).
- Subtitles (bold for main ones and normal for secondary ones, both justified to the left).
- Acknowledgments.
- Endnotes.

· Textual quotations have to go between quotation marks and, in case of being longer than five lines they have to be detached by a blank line on the top and the bottom
· Radiometric datings and years have to be expressed on years BP (AP, in Spanish), followed by the realistic error (+-), and the Lab code (between brackets). Dated materials should be detailed (wood, charcoal, etc.). In the case of calibrated dates, they have to be preceded by Cal. A.C. (B.C, in Spanish) or Cal. d.C. (A.D., in Spanish).
· Endnotes go in the end of the text.
· Figures will be printed on grey scale, but could be sent on full colors, to be included in the electronic version of the papers, which will be published in academic indexes. |
