FAVE Journal Agricultural Sciences Section (FJAScS) is the official scholarly publication of the School of Agricultural Sciences (Universidad Nacional del Litoral), Esperanza, Santa Fe, Argentina. Fave AScS publishes original articles contributing to the scientific and technological development in the field of Agricultural Sciences. It also accepts short communications, reviews, thesis abstracts and approved projects in the same field. Fave AScS publishes two issues per year which make up a yearly volume.

The official language of the journal is Spanish; however, articles in Portuguese, French and English are also accepted.

It is a requirement that submitted manuscripts have not been published before and are not under consideration for publication elsewhere. All manuscripts submitted by researchers from FAVE or from other institutions from home or abroad will be subject to a peer-review process by disciplinary experts.

FJAScS adheres to the “open access” publication model, according to the recommendations issued by the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI):

FAVE Sección Ciencias Agrarias maintains a commitment to the policies of Open Access to scientific information, as it considers that both scientific publications as well as research investigations funded by public resources should circulate freely without restrictions.

FAVE Sección Ciencias Agrarias ratifies the Open Access model in which scientific publications are made freely available at no cost online, with no time embargos and with no publication costs transferred to the authors. This policy seeks to dismantle the economic barriers that have created inequalities in the access to both information and the ability to publish investigation results
