Kurtziana is a 45-year-old biannual journal of the  Universidad Nacional de Córdoba which publishes scientific works related to different aspects of  Vegetal Biology. It was started at the Museo Botánico de Córdoba de la Facultad de Ciencias Exactas Físicas y Naturales and at present is the editing is carried out together with the Instituto Multidisciplinario de Biología Vegetal (CONICET – Universidad Nacional de Córdoba).
Kurtziana has a wide global circulation, being available at bookshops in various parts of the world. In addition, its articles are cited on the  ISI Master Journal list (Thompson), Biological Abstracts, Latindex, Excerpta Botanica and the Kew Record of Taxonomic Literature, among other registers of scientific publications. It also belongs to the  Núcleo Básico de Revistas Científicas del CAICYT (Centro Argentino de Información Científica y Tecnológica).

Frequency: six-monthly (2 issues/year).

Its abbreviated title is Kurtziana (en línea), and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.
