The fundamental aim of the Latin American Journal of Sedimentology and Basin Analysis (LAJSBA) is to publish contributions dealing with all aspects of sedimentology , sedimentary rocks, basin analysis sediment dynamics and related disciplines, such as stratigraphy, paleoecology, paleogeography providing a timely forum to the advance of the entire field. The Latin American Journal of Sedimentology and Basin Analysis is published twice a year in July and December. Papers must be original, will present data, interpretations and/or synthesis that are unpublished and/or have not been submitted elsewhere. If accepted, the papers become copyright of the Asociación Argentina de Sedimentología.

Frequency: six-monthly (2 issues/year).

Its abbreviated title is Lat. Am. J. Sedimentol. Basin Anal. (en línea) and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.
