Meteorologica is a semestral journal published by the Centro Argentino de Meteorólogos. The main objective of the journal is to publish and distribute results of theoretical and applied researches in all areas related to atmospheric sciences. The articles are evaluated by at least two independent reviewers.

Meteorologica is committed to Open Access policies to scientific information, considering that both the scientific literature as the research funded with public funds should be liberally available on the Internet, without restrictions and free. This policy aims to break the barriers that generate economic inequalities in the access to information, and the publication of research results.
