Olivar is a periodical publication of the Instituto de Investigaciones en Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales - IdIHCS (UNLP-CONICET), created in 2000, whose purpose is to spread national and international academic productions on Spanish literature and culture as well as their connections with the Spanish-American universe. It includes several sections: articles, notes, documents, interviews, and critical reviews, intended to collect collaborations with different theoretical and methodological approaches. Papers received by the writing staff are put under the evaluation by the Advisory Board and Editorial Committee for their eventual publication. Starting with issue 21, it has exclusively adopted the digital format, and replaces the usual miscellaneous articles with a Monographic Dossier under the responsibility of a specialist Editor. Specialists who wish to present their proposal can do so in two ways: 1. A proposal for a closed Monographic Dossier: the topic or title, responsible editor, expected list of authors and titles of the works must be indicated, with a minimum of four and a maximum of ten). 2. An open Monographic Dossier proposal: the topic and proposed responsible editor must be indicated, which will be evaluated by the Olivar editorial team and, if approved, will be opened to the request for collaborations. In addition, Revista Olivar will continue to include the Documents, Interviews, Translations and Reviews sections intended to host collaborations that respond to different theoretical and methodological approaches. The materials received by the Secretariat are subjected to double evaluation by the Advisory and Referee Committee for subsequent publication. Frequency: Olivar is published twice a year. |

Open access policy Olivar provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. Olivar is an open access journal licensed under Creative Commons Atribución-NoComercial-CompartirIgual 4.0 Internacional. Its contents are available online in the institutional repositories Memoria Académica and SEDICI Our institution, Facultad de Humanidades y Ciencias de la Educación (UNLP), promotes and supports Open Access movement. Its editions have no charges for the author or for the reader, and encourages authors to deposit their contributions in other institutional and thematic repositories. Data Availability Policy Olivar promotes the transparency and reproducibility of the published research so that other researchers can replicate the studies described in these articles, either to corroborate or refute the obtained results, under the provisions of the Argentinian National Law No. 26,899 on Open Access Institutional Digital Repositories. To promote the reproducibility of results, the journal requires authors to make available the data sets used to perform the research described in their articles without restrictions. In case of limitations for ethical or legal reasons, authors shall indicate how other researchers should proceed to access such data. Any information and research data sent to Olivar shall be uploaded and made available in SEDICI, the repository of Universidad Nacional de La Plata (UNLP), to increase compliance with the FAIR principles: Findable, Accessible, Interoperable and Reusable (it should be possible to find and access data, which should be located in systems capable of interoperating, and people should be able to reuse them in other investigations). Authors are encouraged to store data in SEDICI, or any other research data repository (for example, FigShare, Mendeley Data or Zenodo), before sending their contributions to the journal. When the article is submitted, this would allow simply mentioning the URL where the research data are located. Authors are requested to use formats that maximize data accessibility and reusability (for example, regarding tabular data, using a spreadsheet is suggested). If necessary, it is recommended that, together with the data, they publish the algorithms or pipelines that must be used with the data for their correct interpretation. Copyright Notice Acceptance of the manuscript by the journal implies that it will not be presented simultaneously to other journals or editorial bodies and that the authors' patrimonial rights will not be exclusively transferred to the publisher, who will allow the reuse, after its edition, under a Creative Commons Atribución-NoComercial-CompartirIgual 4.0 Internacional. You may share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and create from the material another work), provided that: a) you cite the original authorship and source of your publication (journal, publisher, and URL of the work); b) they are not used for commercial purposes; c) the same terms of the license are maintained. The assignment of non-exclusive rights also implies the authorization by the authors for the work to be deposited in the institutional repositories Memoria Académica and SEDICI and disseminated through the databases that the publisher considers suitable for indexing, with a view to increasing the visibility of the publication and its authors. |
