The Revista Escuela de historia only accepts unpublished articles related to the History discipline, written in Spanish, English or Portuguese. In sending originals, authors give their permission for articles to be published in print and on the internet. For publication, materials should receive two positive evaluations from external referees selected by the editorial committee.
The deadline for receiving work is the 30 April of each year and material  sent for evaluation and subsequent publication is not returned.
Articles should be clear, written in Word or compatible version.

Number of pages should not exceed 25 pages, size A4, including graphs, images, citations, notes and bibliography. Articles should be written in Arial 12 and 1.5 spaced.
Bibliographical citations should refer directly to the work and go at the foot of the page. There should be no more than 60. The citation norm to follow is the Chicago Style format.
The bibliographical list should only include the bibliography cited in footnotes. It should go at the end of the article with the title Bibliography in bold and in Arial 10. The format to follow is that found in the Chicago Style manual.
Article title,  Arial 14, bold, centre aligned, first letter in capitals, the rest in lowercase and without final full-stop.
Article title in English, Arial 14, not bold, in parentheses, centre aligned, first letter in capitals, the rest in lowercase and without final full-stop.
Author(s), Arial 12 bold, right aligned, only first letters of names and surnames in capitals.
Affiliation, Arial 10, normal, left aligned, first letter if institution where author works in capitals, include postal address and e-mail, all separated by commas.
Abstract, the word in bold followed by a colon, Arial 10, left aligned, the body of the text must not exceed a quarter of the page, Arial 10, normal, justified alignment.
Resumen, the word in bold followed by a colon, Arial 10, left aligned, the body of the text must not exceed a quarter of the page, Arial 10, normal, justified alignment.
Keywords: include 3 to 5 keywords, Arial 10, first letter with capital, separated by semicolons.
Palabras clave: include 3 to 5 keywords, Arial 10, first letter with capital, separated by semicolons.
Body of the article, justified alignment, Arial 12, subheadings in bold and left aligned.
Bibliographical citations and footnotes, Arial 10, justified.
