Instructions to authors

Scope and editorial policy

Scripta Mediaevalia publishes articles, reviews and notes related to the historical-philosophical fields, but also to other disciplines that discuss the cultural topics from The Middle Ages.

The contributions are considered by two pairs of blind arbitrators, specialized on each subject, who will dictate their resolution discreetly, about the scientific quality of the writing. The authors will be notified about the decision and will be told to change something if necessary, in the term of three months. In case of having one positive and one negative arbitration, the writing will be submitted to a third arbitrator.
