Pilquen. Social Sciences Department is a six-monthly issue from the Atlantic Area Regional Center, Comahue National University. It is a magazine about multiplex subjects. The reports and papers included are the result from ongoing investigations. The authors are teachers, researchers and scholarship holders from the Regional Center. Its aim is to contribute to the scientific production concerning the fields of language, literature and communication, psicopedagogy, history, political sciences and public administration. It stays in touch with other research institutions and teachers interested in these areas.

Frequency: Until 2009, annual (1 issue/year). Since 2010, six-monthly (2 issues/year).

Its abbreviated title is Rev. Pilquen, Secc. Cienc. Soc. (en línea) and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.
