ALVAREZ CARO, Francisco et al. Adenopatías en pediatría. Arch. argent. pediatr. [online]. 2007, vol.105, n.4, pp.342-350. ISSN 0325-0075.

Adenopathies are an extremely common finding in paediatrics, being one of the most frequent motives of consultation. In most occasions are secondary to benign processes, although other times they respond to more severe etiologies. Differentiating between one or other etiology is the most important clinical fact, and a correct diagnostic approach can avoid a delay in the appropriate management of this entity, preventing damages to the patient. The most frequent causes will be revised according to location and anatomical distribution, contributing with intervention schemes for each case, which can lead the physician to reach a diagnostic and an adequate therapy.
