Abstract

ACCATTOLI, Cecilia; SALAZAR MARTINEZ, Ana E.  and  MARTINEZ, Pablo A.. Oribatid mites (Acari: Oribatida) of Yatay Forests (Butia yatay), Entre Ríos, Argentina. Rev. Soc. Entomol. Argent. [online]. 2015, vol.74, n.3-4, pp.173-179. ISSN 0373-5680.

Two ecosystems, forest of yatay (Butia yatay) and riparian forest, in El Palmar National Park, Entre Ríos province, Argentina, were sampled for soil oribatid mites. Thirty six species were found; eleven of them are recorded from Argentina for the first time and thirty three for Entre Ríos province. The most diverse community was the forest of yatay, with 31 species. Fifty percent of them were exclusive to this ecosystem.
