Abstract

COMINIELLO, Sebastián. The milking revolution: Changes in the work process of primary production milk in Argentina, 1980:2007. Trab. soc. [online]. 2016, n.26, pp.361-387. ISSN 1514-6871.

The object of this study is to reconstruct the history of work processes in the dairy farms to account for the arrival of the great Argentine industry dairy. We start, then, with the question: what are the changes that occur in the production of the good "milk" are? To this end, we focus on analyzing the work process in the main section of the dairy farms: milking. This historicalreconstruction of the developed work process, on the one hand, analyzing the specialized journals in the field and on the other, from our fieldwork. This allows us to see, first, the arrival of the great Argentine dairy industry during the 1980s and, second hand, changes in the demand for skills to perform the tasks of milking. We study the work process a perspective that the emphasis the law of value as a general determinant. Thus, we propose to study what changes he starred in the working process of dairy farms sector and what consequences it had in relation to the workforce.
