Abstract

HERAS MONNER SANS, Ana Inés  and  MIANO, María Amalia. Sociolingüística y etnografía: Análisis de interacciones en la Mesa de grupos auto-gestionados. Trama comun. [online]. 2014, vol.18, n.2, pp.251-271. ISSN 1668-5628.

We present an analysis of interactions at the Mesa Colectiva de Trabajo, a device whereby representatives of six self-managed organizations share their everyday practices in order to reflect on them. We guide our analysis by these questions: -What are the specific ways in which knowledge is constructed at the Mesa Colectiva? -What are the contents by which the organizations construct their perspective in order to critically examine their collective action? Our analysis brings new perspectives on self-managed organizations in that we focus on interactions, and we analyze learning processes where several different organizations participate. It is important to note that in as much self-managed groups identify themselves with political action it is not easy to gain access to documenting their practices and, much less, their reflections on them. However, since the authors of this paper are also members of a self-managed organization participating in Mesa Colectiva, we share the process of knowledge generation, its analysis and its ways of being communicated to the public. Through our analysis we conclude that there is a close relationship between the type of device in which we interact (a collective round table where we are all participants with equal rights), the discursive genres created in this space, and the content generated through our shared reflections. Since we have combined interactional sociolinguistics with an ethnographic perspective, we have been able to identify what kinds of resources do participants bring to the common space, and what kind of content-knowledge is generated.
