Abstract

NALLIM, María Alejandra. (The literature of the new millennium in Jujuy: A kaleidoscopic space). Cuad. Fac. Humanid. Cienc. Soc., Univ. Nac. Jujuy [online]. 2014, n.45, pp.167-186. ISSN 1668-8104.

This work is part of the research project: NOA (Argentinean Northwest) literary cartography of the 90s and the new century: Jujuy Station, it is a complex inquiry, not only for the aesthetic dimensions, socio-cultural and criticism by which we try to delimit the object but also by the narrow margin of historical distance between the literary production and the interpretive treatment, which involves certain risks in the analytic reduction.             The context of the new century confronts the aesthetic diversity, the scriptural provocation and the deconstruction of the "parochial" tradition with those artistic devices that the academy consecrated as legitimate, to account for multiple poetics, from paper form where texture, image and layout impose to the reign of writing by means of the proliferation of alternative editions, to the silhouettes of the digital environment that install a sort of virtual maze.             The newest literary generation in Jujuy -those writers born after the dictatorship- designs an irregular, varied and temporary literary nappa that requires- mainly by their age difference - other logical thinking, new access routes to information, innovative reading circuits read and 'rare' artistic affiliations as fictional nutrients of the new century.             Different categories of Latin American and Argentinian thought from the 90s, will be theoretical scaffolding for discussion about the theories called post that insist on the prevalence of the heterogeneity overlapping three nodal focuses: discourse, subjects and representation, which debates appeal to identity crisis, the explosion of marginality, the vulnerability of representation, the breakdown of discursive unity, the rule of daily realism and an art without metaphors. These disruptive marks allow us to understand the literary tailoring from local subjectivities, after relocation of the national literary system.             The research process then tries to address the recent generations of writers who draw a new map in the literature of Jujuy from several currents of national or Latin American criticism, for the purpose of providing input on new trends in regional literature and contribute to the interpretative lines of Argentinean literature.
