Boll weevil, Anthonomus grandis Boheman (Coleoptera: Curculionidae), is considered the most destructive cotton pest in America. Many studies require sex determination for which different techniques are used, but they have limitations or require previous training. In the present work, we contribute with better illustrations and updated photographs of the differences between sexes of A. grandis pupae to provide an easy and quick technique for sex differentiation.
