Abstract

CASULLO, María Martina  and  FERNANDEZ LIPORACE, Mercedes. Proposals from Positive Psychology: ¿Psychological universals or particular concepts from a cultural perspective?. Anu. investig. [online]. 2007, vol.14, pp.00-00. ISSN 1851-1686.

The paper presents, in the first place, a list of advances on design and adaptation of instruments to assess variables derived from Positive Psychology. This paradigm focuses on protective factors which preserve persons from psychological disease. On the other hand, the potential universality of these concepts is analyzed, facing the goal to take into account the possible validity of generalizations.

Keywords : Positive psychology; Psychological universals; Psychological assessment.
