Abstract

RUIZ, Guillermo et al. The academic structure of educational system as channel for knowledge distribution: historical analysis from educational policy point of view. Educational levels evolution's at the foundational time. Anu. investig. [online]. 2007, vol.14, pp.00-00. ISSN 1851-1686.

This article focuses on the results of the first part of this research: the reconstruction of the historical evolution of the academic structure of the Argentinean educational system, between 1853 and 1884. The main hypothesis considers that evolution of academic structure constitutes an indicator of the distribution of significant knowledge in the society. This historical evolution gives insights about the ways in which the Argentinean State has organized the distribution of knowledge across the formal education, through the definition of the obligatory period of schooling and educational tracks, in every historical period, for different social groups. Thus, the article describes the evolution of each educational level at the foundational time. Preliminary conclusion anticipates the characteristics that theses educational levels would have in the following decades, which would organize systematically the formal education.

Keywords : Academic structure; Educational levels; Educational policy.
