Abstract

LEGASPI, Leandro et al. Temporality and identity invulnerable young people. Anu. investig. [online]. 2012, vol.19, n.1, pp.335-343. ISSN 1851-1686.

In a context of permanent changes, Vocational Psychology is interested in understanding how people construct their life paths, their projects and their identity in interaction with different significant contexts. This study aims to visualize how young people in a situation of socio-educational vulnerability shape their identity and relate to temporality. In particular, we analyze the educational careers, family and social trajectories, and the relationships established between these and the anticipations of the future. Data comes from the corpus of interviews with young students belonging to a low-quality educational track and who are in a situation of educational deicit. The results exemplify different ways to compose stories in relation to temporality-past, present and future, and the importance of the identification models of young people to approach and view their future.

Keywords : Young people; Socio-educational vulnerability; Anticipations of the future.
