Abstract

ORTIZ ZAVALLA, Graciela L.; BERDULLAS, Pilar  and  MALAMUD, Marta. The object in the melancholy. Anu. investig. [online]. 2013, vol.20, n.2, pp.157-161. ISSN 1851-1686.

This paper intends to explore the differences between melancholy as a psychic structure and melancholic characteristics that present themselves in psyquiatric disorders. The superego plays a central role in this distinction; the voice that constitute it and its relationship with pulsional objects will also be considered according to freudian and lacanian thought. The study of the body and the importance of the image in its constitution will contribute to the understanding of  the abolition of desire.

Keywords : Melancholy; Superego; Pulsional objects; Body image.
