Abstract

ORTEGA, Julián. Stress and psychological evaluation: a theoretical approach related with the concept of resilience. Anu. investig. [online]. 2014, vol.21, n.1, pp.297-302. ISSN 1851-1686.

This article addresses the Stress and Psychological Assessment topic, in connection with Resilience and Social Support. The concept of Stress together with its theoretical scopes is developed, highlighting the importance of social support, in order to attain a better understanding of that process. Further, some psychological assessment techniques developed to measure it are mentioned and the Escala de Sucesos de Vida, of M.M. Casullo and Inventario de Valoración y Afrontamiento (IVA) of Cano-Vindel and Miguel-Tobal are detailed. At the same time, the resilience issue is introduced as a possible way to face adverse situations and the necessity of deepening the study of such concept is remarked.
