Abstract

ROITMAN, Germán; MAZA, Isabel  and  CASTILLO, Alberto. Presence of Habranthus cardenasianus(Amaryllidaceae) in Argentina. Bol. Soc. Argent. Bot. [online]. 2006, vol.41, n.1-2, pp.95-98. ISSN 1851-2372.

Habranthus cardenasianus (Amaryllidaceae), a species formerly described from Bolivia, is cited for the first time from Argentina. The distribution and ecology of the species are refered, and six Argentinian species are reduced to nomenclatural synonyms.
