Abstract

APONTE-R, Angélica  and  URIBE-M, Jaime. Revisión de la familia Polytrichaceae (Bryophyta) para Colombia. Bol. Soc. Argent. Bot. [online]. 2017, vol.52, n.2, pp.209-250. ISSN 1851-2372.

The taxonomic revision of the family Polytrichaceae for Colombia is presented. Seventeen species are recognized for the country. Steereobryon elamellosum is recorded for the first time for the country. The representation of species is modified in the cases of Atrichum, Polytrichum, Pogonatum, Polytrichadelphus and Steereobryon; the representation of Notoligotrichum and Oligotrichum is confirmed. Fifteen new synonyms are proposed. The review includes a general key for family, synonymy, descriptions, illustrations and distribution maps.
