Abstract

MAURO, Karina. Cooperatives and working conditions of the actors in the theater of Buenos Aires. Rev. Pilquen. secc. cienc. soc. [online]. 2018, vol.21, n.5, pp.38-48. ISSN 1851-3123.

In this paper we will focus on the characteristics adopted by the organization of theater production in cooperatives, a modality used in the so-called off or alternative circuit. For this we will analyze the implementation of cooperatives in previous stages of our theatrical history, especially during the years of strikes by actors (1919-1921) and in the independent theater movement, and its influence on the current model.

Keywords : Cooperatives; Workers of Acting; Argentine Theatre.
