This paper proposes a review of recent Studies about political careers and trajectories of national MPs of Argentina and Latin America. The aim is to collect analytical tools to be used in an on going research about national MPs from Buenos Aires province. The corpus selected for this article includes two kinds of studies: a) empirical works about national MPs of latin america and, b) recent papers focused on subnational level as political locus. The aim is to identify analytical dimensions that could be used to research about Buenos Aires province
