Abstract

This article discusses a series of five questions on issues that have not yet been elucidated by studies on urban crime in Argentina. Topics include the debate on specialization and facts per person; approach in terms of market crime; the relationship between crime and inequality; heterogeneity of situations in different places and the relationship between crime and violence. It is about new approaches from the existing data and more conceptual questions that have not yet been answered. It is argued that to consider these questions would help to deepen our understanding of issues regarding urban crime in the country
