There is great interest to describe and to explain the changes in the status and gender relationships after the space movement. This article looks to add information to this line of investigation, paying special attention to Peruvians who have arrived to Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area in the last fifteen years. The analysis concentrates on the couples in those which the wives emigrated before the husbands. The objective is to analyze transformations happened in the Peruvian heterosexual couples during the migratory trance, which hinder the moment when couples reunite in Argentina. Conflicts, negotiations and concessions are analyzed, which can give place to new forms of coexistence.
