The creation in 1939, in Mendoza, of the National University of Cuyo, and with it the School of Philosophy and Literature, constitutes a milestone in the philosophical activity of the province. It is at that moment when Humanities reach their institutional peak, particularly in the exercise and transmission of Philosophy. We focus on four decades that start in 1939 to mid-1970s in order to appreciate, as a whole, the characteristics of the normalized philosophical practice, the criticism to it, and its transformation in terms of normalization.

Keywords : Philosophical practice; Normalization; Liberation, Mendoza, School of Philosophy and Literature, National University of Cuyo.
