Nowadays, many concepts such as Sustainable Design, Eco-Friendly, Ecodesign or Green Design are familiar for any professional designer. These terms invade all aspects of life, and increasingly professional practice. To perfom effectively in this area, it is necessary to distinguish which of these trends could be feasible solutions for solving environmental problems and which are mere fallacies that get worse the problem to be solved. This article attempts to provide a critical approach of this issue, in order to conceptually understand it.
