VENEZIANI, Marcia. Prólogo. Migración y Diseño. Cuad. Cent. Estud. Diseñ. Comun., Ensayos [online]. 2022, n.111, pp.11-16.  Epub June 01, 2022. ISSN 1853-3523.  http://dx.doi.org/10.18682/cdc.vi111.4227.

The purpose of this series of essays is to visualize the issue of migration within two countries of the Southern Hemisphere (Argentina and Aotearoa New Zeland), and its impact in 21st century Design.

In the last year there has been a rise in migration waves that travel from one end of the planet to the other. How can Design contribute to this process? Sometimes, producing cultural hybrids according to each context. In a globalized world, migration impacts productions in a unique way.

Keywords : migration; design; Argentina; New Zealand; Southern Hemisphere; cultural hybrids; Latin America..
