Abstract

CALABRESE, Elisa. The Endless Flow of Images. CELEHIS [online]. 2014, n.27, pp.69-84. ISSN 2313-9463.

The purpose of this work is to caracterize some of the essential traits of Alfredo Veirave's poetics. His critical writing will be examined in order to observe the matching between his own writing project and the way he reads other authors. By placing him on the context of the literary production of his time, his position between two opposite poetics, that is, "poetic trascendentalism" and social poetry, may be observed. Finally, the effect of his peculiar images will be described, as an essential procedure in his poetics.

Keywords : poetics; images; critics; context; procedures.
