Abstract

This work proposes a reading of the two volumes of Diarios by the Argentine writer Abelardo Castillo, which appeared respectively in 2016 and 2019. The first part is introductory and raises lines of interest in these recently published texts. Next, the article considers the question of correction, central to Castillo's poetics, based on both disseminated notions and the meticulous record of the constant corrections made. It will be investigated what the modifications to the texts consist of, in which third parties may also intervene and weigh the amendments that the writer considers pertinent in other people's texts.
