During the last military dictatorship in Argentina and in the years of the transition to democracy, there were different approaches of Psy professionals to the field of human rights and care for victims of State terrorism. That social encounter has not beem reflected on the academic fields of knowledge production. This article proposes to a dialogical overview between the field of recent Argentine history and the history of Psy disciplines, with the purpose of analyzing how this topic has been treated in both domains. We are interested in examining which were the dimensions illuminated by these fields of study regarding the actions of Psy professionals in the framework of State terrorism, as well as analyzing the temporalities used and the preponderant biases of their interpretation. The academic production developed so far has not developed an interdisciplinary dialogue between recent history and the history of Psy disciplines, leave out a range of problems and research objects.
