Recently, postmodern critiques of traditional sociological theories discuss whether events have structural value in unstructured societies and whether events are a path of change in societies living in permanent change. Within organizational studies these proposals have not been ignored. Many researchers have been dipped in an attempt to define, interpret and characterize the occurrence of events within organizations. Other researchers have addressed the importance of studying chains of events built by action networks. This attempt seems to be associated with the presence of events represents an opportunity for ethical judgments kind, as they are not routine and are a space for reflection and challenge the established codes. It has also addressed the importance of studying chains of events built by action networks. This approach seeks to address the peculiarity, simultaneity and multiplicity of events present in the act of organizing which are linked together and the actors in the construction of stories within organizations. This paper presents a literature review performed by determining differences and approaches in the relationship between Theory Event Action Networks, Sensemaking and Meaning, for reflections about the vital importance of these concepts to the construction of meaning between members of an organization
