Resumen

FERRERE, Paula; SIGNORELLI, Alejandro  y  CABRINI, Silvina. Análisis productivo y económico de sistemas silvo-apícola pastoriles en el norte de la provincia de Buenos Aires. RIA. Rev. investig. agropecu. [online]. 2020, vol.46, n.1, pp.108-115. ISSN 1669-2314.

The addition of value-generating productive alternatives that safeguard natural resources for local communities is a topic of growing interest. The cultivated area standardization, together with the occurrence of extreme climatic events and the need for a more efficient use of resources, has given rise to the reconsideration of the traditional production systems looking for profitable yet sustainable alternatives for the use of natural resources. The objective of this study is to perform an assessment of a productive diversification proposal for producers in the continental Pampa area, through the integration of forestry activity together with pasture and honey production. Wood, forage and honey productivity indicators are estimated through field measurements, bibliographic research and the input of knowledgeable locals. The costs and benefits associated with the production and sale of wood, forage and honey, and the State contributions are calculated according to the payments set forth in National Law 25080, and the property tax exemption and other benefits set forth in Provincial Law 12662. The results obtained show a current positive net present value tha range from 3898 u$s. ha-1 to 2615 u$s.ha-1 depending on the target system and regardless of grant allocations. Therefore, they confirm that these systems represent a valid option to supplement the agro-livestock activities in the region.
