Resumen
CATALANI, Franco. Women and political parties in La Pampa: First Approximation. Aljaba [online]. 2012, vol.16. ISSN 1669-5704.
Hypothetically, the female gender is underrepresented in the authorities of the political parties if we take into account the number of female members. On that basis, it was proposed the objective to relieve the proportion of women in La Pampa political parties in both records (authorities and affiliations) from 1983 to date. It started with the survey data of the Peronist Party of La Pampa, considering that in the last three decades of democracy, has determined the political and institutional life of the state. Organically, the party structure from basic units formed in the towns of the state, a council (executive role) and a congress (assembly-body) state. The percentage of women affiliated is nearly half (between 47 and 49% according to the year). Their participation in charge offices has been increasing over the years, but has been minimal in the organs (Provincial Council) and more powerful positions (Chais, Vice-Chairs, General Secretaries), and more significant in those with less ability to form organic will (Basic Units and councilmans and girls).
