Resumen
CARO FIGUEROA, Gregorio A.. Ciro Torres Lopez: A virtually unknown individual. Rev. Esc. Hist. [online]. 2005, n.4, pp.87-112. ISSN 1669-9041.
Our local history is often limited in itself. It tends to focus on a few topics, settings and personalities. The intentional omissions allow the authorities to exclude some events and people from history. This is the case of Ciro Torres López. He was born in Salta, in 1898 and died -most likely- in Rosario, Santa Fe in the mid 1950s. The lack of motivation and social territory made Torres López leave Salta in his youth. Between 1930 and 1955, he edited eight books and wrote several that weren't published. He wrote hundreds of essays for newspapers around the world: Buenos Aires, Madrid, New York, Lima, Santiago and La Paz.
