Resumen

CIOTTI, Selva. Multi-sited diasporic times and temporal-spatial bifurcation in the dual associative and educational experience of the migrant community of the Republic of Senegal in Argentina, from extracentric epistemologies of the South. Rev. Esc. Hist. [online]. 2021, vol.20, n.2, pp.00-00. ISSN 1669-9041.

In the present work, the object of focus is communication and sociocultural processes based on the Time coordinate. Temporality will be thought, supported by spatiality, in the historical experience of coexistence between the multi-sited diasporic times of the migrant community of Senegal in Argentina, whose Subjects remain traversed by the temporal-spatial bifurcation of their Postcolonial African State of origin. This condition lived by this migrant community is transferred by its constituent subjects to their destination, living in parallel temporalities (and spatialities), between the Western capitalist Modernity that is intended to be linear, continuous, homogeneous, secular and rational (both in origin as in destination), and the non-Western temporal-spatially marginal world lived in circular, heterogeneous, discontinuous temporalities, inserted in religious and spiritual languages (also from multiple, both shores). The individuals in the community live in tension between the controversial dyad "Modernity / Tradition", which is reflected in the community associative spheres (between Civil Associations and Brotherhood of the Sufi Mourid) and educational (between Western School "to the French” with his Francophonie and the Koranic School of Sufi Islam in the Wolof / Arabic ethnic language). This multiple temporal dimension can be observed in the mixed official national calendar (secular and multi / religious) of the Republic of Senegal, elaborated as a social fact and cultural artifact, disseminated as a communicational practice or process constructed both by the State and by sociocultural mediations. of the Subjects of the migrant community of the diaspora in their displacement. The multiple and bifurcated temporalities of (and by) migration, temporal and spatial, are inhabited by a new episteme, starring subaltern Subjects of the so-called “Third World”, Afro-Asiatics from popular sectors, makers of popular culture, Afro-indigenous and Afro -Arabs, who together with their popular leaders and mass intellectuals re / know and re / appropriate their postcolonial non-European identity, after centuries of traumatic and alienating colonial insertion in Modernity.

Palabras clave : Multi-sited diasporic times; Temporo-spatial bifurcation; Associative and dual educational experience; Migrant community from the Republic of Senegal in Argentina.
