This paper presents the results of the technological, morphological and stylistic analysis of ceramic vessels from residential contexts corresponding to the Formative period (ca. 900 B.C. - ca. 900 A.D.) of the El Bolsón valley, located in the Department of Belén, Catamarca. The occupation in the valley in this temporary segment accounts for a prehispanic peasant territory made up of different facilities for agricultural-livestock production, gathering food resources, permanent residences, circulation areas and places with temporary occupation (Korstanje 2005, 2007). In turn, that territory has been assembled into interaction networks that connect people and objects on a regional scale.
