This proposal aims to reflect, through a cases study, on the institutional trends and «territorial embedding» of the models of scientific-technological link deployed by two Argentine universities. In this framework, it is argued that said embedding will be associated with two convergent processes: the construction and internal organization of said function within the university (institutional structures, orientation of the function from its origins, etc.) and an external view, linked to the type of relationship and/or links generate with public-private actors present in with its environment. In this framework, similarities can be observed in the institutional structures and differences in terms of scope, scope of action and forms of articulation with the territorial environment of the universities studied.
