Resumen

SCILLETTA, Delia  y  MALDAVSKY, David. Study discrepancies regarding facts in couple and family therapy: concepts, instruments, procedures. Subj. procesos cogn. [online]. 2016, vol.20, n.1, pp.235-249. ISSN 1852-7310.

Objectives: to describe conflicts of couples and family expressed in the traits of the discrepancies among the versions of the facts given by the patients. Results: there are 1) types of discrepancy (regarding facts, regarding the subject, regarding quantitative and/or qualitative aspects, regarding the "causal" relationship between the facts), 2) discordances between complete narratives, between a complete narrative retold by one of the subjects and only one scene retold by another one, between a single scene retold by each, corresponding to the beginning of the narrative for one but to the outcome for another, etc., 3) contradictions between the speakers, of which they may be aware and unaware of. These features allow to categorize conflict more accurately and in detail as well as positive or negative change in couple and family clinic.

Palabras clave : Couple and family conflict; Discrepancies in couples and families; Narrative analysis.
