Resumen
PARIZEK, Bernardo et al. Phenological observations on algarrobo negro (Prosopis flexuosa DC.) and algarrobo blanco (Prosopis chilensis (Mol. stuntz) in the Arid Chaco, Argentina. Multequina [online]. 2000, vol.9, n.1, pp.135-146. ISSN 1852-7329.
The objective of this work is to describe comparatively a first approximation to the phenology of two coexistent populations of Prosopis flexuosa and P. chilensis into the Reserva Forestal Chancaní (Arid Chaco), Argentine. The Phenophases as flowering, foliation and fructification were studied in a whole of 33 and 28 trees of P. flexuosa and P. chilensis, respectively. The principal results are: P. flexuosa shows earlier phenophases than P. chilensis. The Interspecific variability was detected higher than the intraspecific one, so in maturity as in abundance in leaves and flowers.
