BERAMENDI, María Celeste y COSENTINO, Claudia Patricia. Voces noveles sobre la enseñanza de la pronunciación del inglés. Prax. educ. [online]. 2019, vol.23, n.3, pp.25-28. ISSN 0328-9702. http://dx.doi.org/https://doi.org/10.19137/praxiseducativa-2019-230306.
The present study is framed within the Project 2018-2019 Students and teachers within formative settings II: School biographies, narratives, and reflective journals. An interpretive study at English Teacher Education Programme, Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata, located in the Research Group on Education and Cultural Studies (GIEEC). Its main objective is to interpret the social representations of a novice teacher of English on the teaching of English phonetics and phonology, when taking her first steps as a university teacher. Therefore, we will consider the voice of a teacher, graduated in 2014 from the local English Teacher Education Programme, obtained from an individual narrative biographical interview. We will attempt to understand how her personal and professional biographies have left traces in the construction of her representations of the teaching of English pronunciation, and how these vestiges influence the way she reflects upon her own practice.
