ARROYO, Mariela  y  LITICHEVER, Lucía. Discusiones sobre el Régimen Académico de la escuela secundaria argentina: Aportes de un estado del arte. Propuesta educativa (Online) [online]. 2019, n.52, pp.165-179. ISSN 1995-7785.

This article systematizes the central points presented by recent research on the regime academic (RA) of middle school. It´s based on the state of the art prepared from the RIES - FLACSO Knowledge Base that gathers the Argentine academic production on middle school from 2003 to the present. These theoretical elaborations have gained strength in recent years facing the need to guarantee the enforcement of the right to education for all young people and the evidence that, despite the sanction of compulsory schooling for the middle level, some of the problems of the level continue, such as abandonment, repetition and over-age. It is a theoretical and political concern since investigations take care of the political problem by providing explanations and also the administrations recover these researchs to design modifications of the high school that in its turn will be investigated. We understand the academic regime as a theoretical construct that allows to systematize the explicit and tacit regulations that structure the experience and affect school trajectories. From this definition we approach the investigations that contemplate the components of the RA referred to 1- the academic activity of the students in a restricted sense, 2- to institutional rules and to the ways by which students are attached to such rules and 3- the institutional organization, including the instances of student participation (Baquero et al., 2009).
