TERSOGLIO, E. e SETIEN, N.. Los portainjertos afectan la producción de fruta exportable y la eficiencia productiva exportable del dosel de los cerezos. Agriscientia [online]. 2023, vol.40, n.1, pp.6-6. ISSN 1668-298X. http://dx.doi.org/10.31047/1668.298x.v1.n40.37566.
Rootstocks help cherry trees adapt to different edaphic and climatic conditions by modifying canopy productive attributes. A suitable selection of rootstocks better adapted to growing area increases production. In this work, canopy productive attributes were evaluated: production per tree, production per canopy unit and precocity of eight rootstocks and two sweet cherry varieties. Only fruits with export quality were considered. The experimental design was a randomized complete block, with six replications. The canopies induced by the rootstocks were classified into four homogeneous groups with similar canopy attributes. The SL 64-MxM 60 group showed high exportable production per tree, but low exportable yield efficiency. The MxM 14-CAB 6P group showed low production per tree and efficiency. Group G 5-G 6 showed low production per tree but high yield efficiency. The W 13-Adara-M group showed high production per tree, yield efficiency and precocity. G 5-G 6 were precocious according to efficiency. SL 64-MxM 60 and MxM 14-CAB 6P showed precocity only according to production when grafted with the suitable variety. Adara-M showed precocity according to production and efficiency, while W 13 only showed precocity when grafted with the suitable variety.
