This paper reflects on two interventions on the working class on one hand, the dictatorship of 1976 and another of some intellectuals who contributed to create a negative discourse on the working class. Through a particular case, the strike Fridge Berisso Swift in 1979, the work raises a number of theoretical and methodological reflections that can problematize and draw relevant conclusions to develop historical studies on the political action of the working class during the military dictatorship and its relevance to current programs
