PINI, Mónica; AMARE, Mónica; CERDEIRO, Clarisa  e  TERZIAN, Claudia. Consumos digitales de los jóvenes: ¿puentes o muros para la enseñanza escolar?. Propuesta educativa (Online) [online]. 2016, n.46, pp.84-92. ISSN 1995-7785.

This article summarizes the findings of a qualitative research project that, based on previous studies in relation to consumption and cultural practices of children and young people, seeks to make visible the potential for teachers of students observed in their consumption and cultural practices, to encourage the feasibility of teaching and learning meaningful. Part of this consumption and daily practices of students is linked to digital environments. For this study, a joint team was formed with members from three public high schools in the Conurbano of the Province of Buenos Aires and researchers from a national university. Data collection was based on conducting focus groups with students from the three schools mentioned. The analysis and interpretation of the meanings that students give their practices is done using a combination of theoretical and methodological tools from cultural studies, pedagogy and sociology criticism. The richest and most productive experiences working with netbooks and programs that equip them are mediated by teachers who find in them interesting educational possibilities. It is in these times when adult reappears as a mediator between the young and the reality, and the school gets sense in changing contexts and culture.
